Things to Do Around Here...

From visiting a local fishing village, to walking along the beach to a nearby lighthouse, there’s lots to do around here for quiet, nature-loving folks. Rent a Kayak or SUP in Morell, and paddle the Morell River, or get a close up view of blue herons and other local wildlife as you enjoy a customized yoga retreat and kayak tour at nearby Nature Space Resort. Spend the day at Greenwich National Park, and grab take-out at the Golden Dory on the way home. You can also spend the day at MYSA spa and enjoy a sumptuous meal there as well.

Several food trucks and small restaurants in Morell and St Peters offer a surprisingly tasty assortment of island fare. Or go berry picking at a local patch -- every picked haskaps before? Delicious and nutritious!

Interested in learning more about Indigenous people and culture in the area? Spend the day at Scotchfort reserve near Mt Stewart, or drive down to the pow wow at Lennox Island, and learn about Mi'kmaq culture and tradition.

We’re also just a half hour drive from Charlottetown in case you wanted to spend a day in the Canadian city that boasts being the birthplace of Confederation. Take in an afternoon of Anne - The Musical, or enjoy a local craft beer. Wander along Victoria Row and shop at the bi-weekly farmers’ market... or enjoy a lobster supper in town.
